PanelAce is a paid research study matching service. We aggregate publicly available paid research opportunities and match them to members based on their profile. We do not operate research studies ourselves.

Information you provide directly:

• Email address (collected during onboarding)
• Profile data from the onboarding quiz: age range, gender, location (state/city), employment status, industry, income bracket, parenting status, interests, preferred study format, availability, and experience level
• Password (if you choose to set one after joining)
• Self-reported study outcomes (earnings you voluntarily log)

Information collected automatically:

• Usage data: pages visited, features used, session duration (via PostHog analytics)
• Device and browser type, IP address, approximate location derived from IP
• Payment processing data handled by Stripe (we never store full card numbers)

• To match you with relevant paid research studies based on your profile
• To create and manage your account and subscription
• To send transactional emails: magic sign-in links, password resets, and renewal confirmations
• To generate personalised AI Insider Tips for individual study listings
• To improve our matching algorithm and product features
• To detect fraud and abuse
• To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal data. We do not send marketing emails without your consent beyond transactional messages directly related to your membership.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription and request account deletion, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain certain records (e.g., payment records for tax purposes).
